The whole idea behind this service is to boost tourism. Unfortunately, right now Shimla and nearby areas are suffering from a major water crisis and the government and people of the area are requesting tourists from not coming to the hills. It will definitely affect the tourism right now since these are the months when there is an overflow of tourists and people in the hills benefit largely from it. However, hopefully the problem will resolve soon and once it does, travelling to Shimla from Chandigarh will be more effective, easy and super quick now!
