2. Sulphate Free Shampoo and Conditioner
Choosing a good shampoo is a no-brainer. While we all have different need for our hair, it is important to understand that our scalp also requires nourishment. Oil your hair for at least 30 minutes twice a week for soft hair and make sure you use a shampoo which is sulphate free.
You can pick an anti-dandruff, anti-pollution shampoo and conditioner depending on what your hair needs, but make sure it’s a good investment.

Okay, you think that you have oily skin so you are blessed with enough oil to keep you moisturised? Nope! In fact, your glans have to work harder if they are not well nourished which leads to sebum production, and that leads to clogged pores! You don’t want blackheads to be your best friend, right? Use a light moisturiser in place of a heavy cream if you have oily skin.

So you might wonder that I am mostly sitting at home or at work and the maximum exposure that I will get is while I am driving, right? Sorry to burst your myth bubble but that is not how UV rays work! They penetrate through your skin and tan the hell out of you. You can use a gel-based sunscreen if you hate the thickness of a cream, and for girls, you can just add a few drops to your concealer or foundation and voila! You are sorted.
5. Deodorant And perfumes
Please bless everyone around you and keep a fragrance handy, always! Keep a deo in your gym or college bag, keep a tiny bottle of perfume in you car or laptop bag for those evening outings. A good smelling human is not just a big turn-on for others, but keeps your pleasant all day long.
6. Wet Wipes
A pack of baby/wet wipes in your car will keep you away from sweaty situations always. Be it a date or an office meeting, quickly wipe your hands, arms or face and there is an instant freshness on your face.
7. Lip Balm
This is not just for girls, but also for all the boys reading this. You know what’s not cool? Looking at someone or trying to kiss someone with chapped, spiked lips. Not only is it annoying for you, it also unhealthy and unhygienic. Make sure you scrub your lips every morning and apply a generous coat of lip-balm over your lips. Lip balms also contain certain amount of SPF and that helps your lips from getting dark in the sun.
How many of these products do you use? Maintaining a high standard of hygiene takes all of us a long way in our personal and professional lives but also contribute to our personal state of mind. Like they always say, a happy body is a happy you!
